CREATIVE MASH HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Creative Mash is a series of fun creative learning workshops for 5–11 year kids. Our main focus is  on drama, mixed up with creative movement, dance, yoga, crafts and games.

Children are divided into Creative Mash levels, Creative Mash Mini for 5-6 year olds          Creative Mash Plus for 7-11 year olds

Creative Mash Kids spend their holidays exploring creativity, sharing ideas, building friendships & making things. Under the coaching of our professional team of teachers coming from various theatre and art backgrounds kids will not only enjoy this experience but they will also build their confidence. 

Each week will finish with a fabulous and energetic performance for families and friends to watch.

Usual structure of our day: 
9am-10am early drop in activities, free play, board games, crafts
10-10:45am introduction to a day, team building plus warm up games and activities
10:45-11:15am snack and water break
11:15-12:00pm drama and movement techniques, games and activities
12-12-12:45pm drama and movement techniques, games and activities
12:45-2pm lunch break, free unstructured play, picnic or walk in the local park if weather allows. 
2-3pm crafts
3-3:45pm yoga, singing, stories, cool down time
3:45-4pm tidy up time and getting ready for home

FRIDAYS: performance for parents at 3pm

PRICE

£160 per workshop (5 days)/ £150 each sibling

£135 per bank holiday workshop (4 days) / £125 siblings 

Daily drop in: £35 per day/ per child (£32 each sibling)

Book 4 weeks before the workshop commence and receive £10 discount on each full week workshop (not available for a daily drop in) 

TRIO DEAL OFFER

Book 3 or more full week workshops per school year and receive £15 discount on each workshop/ per child (Not available for a daily drop in)

DAILY DROP IN AVAILABLE on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays/ No drop ins Thursdays and Fridays, unless you book both days together. We devise the performance Mon-Wed, so Thursdays and Fridays are rehearsals; and it might be a bit too tricky for our teachers to include your child just for one day.

Food

All children need to bring both packed lunch, snack; and a bottle of drink. Please make sure kids have enough food to get them through a busy day.

What to wear

Please wear comfortable clothes for indoor activities; bear in mind we might do some stretches, so no tight jeans please.

Artwork might be messy sometimes, please bring clothes that might get stained.

Costumes for the performance will be decided during the week (no need to buy anything new)

In nice weather we will visit the local park for lunch, walks and for fun filming projects; please make sure your child has a warm jacket and socks in colder days; comfortable shoes for walking and running around, and you can pack sun protection for summer months. 

End Of Week Showcase

The showcase will be on the last day of the workshop at 3pm; family and friends are very welcome to attend. The showcase is usually 30 minutes. There might be cases when we don’t organize a showcase due to the majority of children attending on a drop in basis. If this is the case children will still receive a short film from the week. 

Early Drop In

The creative workshops run from 10am-4pm but we are offering to provide a pre-activity session for children of working parents from 9am. This time will be made up of some creative games, artwork and play (no extra charge for an early drop in).

CREATIVE MASH YOUTH THEATRE

NEW WEEKLY DRAMA CLASSES

The team at Creative Mash are launching term time workshops! These hour long sessions will build confidence, enhance team skills and cover a range of dramatic techniques including improvisation, mime, text work, movement, character development and more. These amazing classes will be packed with games and exercises that will encouraging the development of our young people on a weekly basis. Every session will be planned and delivered by practitioners Dan and Izzie who share a wealth of experience in arts facilitation and are really excited to build fun, engaging, challenging sessions where members can feel at home.

5-6 yrs: Fridays 5-6pm

7-11 yrs: Fridays 5:30-6:30pm

FEES AND PAYMENTS

The first trial class is £9 (£8 siblings), to be paid in cash after the class/bank transfer before the class.

Full Term £90 (10 weeks)/ £80 siblings

Half Term £45 / £40 siblings

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

An invoice will be sent out to each family in advance of the term starting and when the payment is made your child's place is booked for the term. If you would like to make partial instalments please contact us, so this can be arranged. 

Missed Classes:

Unfortunately we are unable to refund missed classes to ensure the sustainability of the drama school.   

Cancellations

No worries if your child changes their mind. Some children stay with us for years, for some of them it’s over after a few weeks. We are happy to refund your payment, as long as you let us know at least 3 days before the class commences. Please email us your child’s name and your bank account details.
