Newington Collective is an international group of talented artists ranging from dancers at all levels (professionals, students, amateur), young choreographers, actors and musicians aiming to produce original and exciting live/dance/theatre/multimedia work for modern audience.

We are always interested to hear from you; and you are very welcome to take part in our projects, performances, research, or just come on watch either our rehearsals or performances to give us a feedback.

History:
February 2008
Launch of NC as the resident company at Newington Dance Space
Performance at Hackney Empire; choreography Conversations in Silence (Danielle Griffin)

March/April 2008
14 artists ranging from professional dancers, dance students, choreographers, actors and musicians took part in the first international project in Slovakia (artistic exchange with Slovakian youth dance company Studio "S")

May/June/July 2008
At the moment the Collective is in the process of creating a new repertoire which will be performed at various festivals in London; choreographer in residence is Chris Mead
The Collective is also working on educational projects and programmes for primary and secondary schools.
